Our mum passed away in Sept and had a funeral plan with Barry Pritchard Swallonest, we had never used them before.From our initial meeting with Sarah we knew our mum was in the safest hands and she would be looked after what we didn't realise was how well the team at Swallonest would take care of us aswell.Nothing was too much trouble,either altering the order of service a few times to listening to us, to even adding butterflies into mums flowers on the day nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with kindness, wanting to get it right for us.Sarah and Katie are amazing ladies to deal with they genuinely have compassion and care for you. We cannot thank them enough.Then onto the funeral day where George and his team shone, they were outstanding, they were professional, caring and timed to perfection that everything went so smoothly and to plan.
If there were more than 5 stars to give then these people deserve them we cannot thank them enough, they are a wonderful team who show compassion not only to the ones in their care but to the families navigating their grief, we cannot praise them enough.
Also thankyou to Ann Radcliffe for arranging beautiful flowers for our mum on her final journey.

We used Pritchards for our dad’s funeral in July.
We can’t speak highly enough about George he made such a difficult time so much easier for me & my family, he guided us through every step of the way, he was caring & very respectful of our dad, on the day walking in front of dad meant such a lot to us.
We are so grateful to him for recommending Jo the celebrant, she met with my family & put us at ease straight away, nothing was too much trouble for her.
On the day she turned our memories of dad into an amazing tribute, she “got him” who he was.

I sadly lost my mum at the age of 58, which was an incredibly traumatic experience. Having to organise your mum’s funeral at just 34 years old, while still trying to process what has happened, is something I never imagined I would have to face.
George and Sarah have supported me beyond words and continue to do so. From the very beginning, they listened carefully to my wishes for my mum and ensured that her dignity was maintained throughout. Their care, compassion and understanding made such a difficult time that little bit easier.

Sadly, I also lost my gran 16 months ago, and George took care of my gran then too. Knowing that both my mum and my gran were in such caring and compassionate hands meant more to me than I can ever explain.

I trust George and Sarah completely and indefinitely. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them, and it is very clear that what they do is far more than just a job — they genuinely care about the families they support.

George is a truly special person who will always remain in my thoughts. He was a saviour during one of the most traumatic times of my life, and I will forever be grateful for the kindness, dignity and compassion he showed my mum, my gran and our family.

George is a very good guy, I felt he genuinely cared about my family and the personal support he showed to me and my family went above and beyond. It was a pleasure to arrange the funeral with him.

It’s so important to recognise truly outstanding service, and George and his team are nothing short of incredible. From the very first moment we made contact, George showed immense care and professionalism, taking away so much of the stress during an incredibly difficult time.

We have had the funeral, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for more. Everything was handled with such respect, efficiency, and grace. The presentation was beautiful, the flowers were stunning, and the thoughtful little touches made all the difference.
