Funeral Planning

For many people, pre-planning their funeral arrangements has become an important part of organising future events in their life

Many have experienced the deep sorrow a bereavement of a loved one can bring themselves and don’t wish to leave their funeral arrangements, at what can be a time of great stress, to their families.

Who better to advise and assist them with all the necessary planning and arrangements than their local family funeral director who has an established trust and respectability within the community?

Pre-Paid Funeral Plans

We believe that our comprehensive range of pre-paid funeral plans, which are available only through independent funeral directors such as ourselves, offer you significant advantages over other plans.

Taking out a pre-paid funeral plan will help ease the worry about meeting the costs of the funeral and the arrangements. Payments can be spread over a number of months or can be paid by lump sum.

Pre-Arranged Plans

A pre-paid funeral plan that covers our direct services

No matter how much funeral directors’ charges may rise in years to come, once your plan is established,as long as we carry out your funeral and your requirements don’t change, neither you nor your family will be asked for a penny more. You can also make a contribution towards third party costs.

Taking out a pre-paid funeral plan can provide peace of mind and that your family will be spared much of what could be a financial worry.

A balanced approach to third party costs

There are some costs that we are obliged to pay on your behalf. These third party costs include the charges of cemeteries and crematoria, as well as doctors’ fees for cremation certificates, the fees of clergy or officiants and the costs of newspaper notices and memorials. The amount of this expenditure is not within our control and may require a further payment at the time of need, if not covered by the value of your plan

Your payment is held with a view to maintaining a level of growth at least equivalent to the increases in inflation, however, this cannot be guaranteed.

If at the time of need, the increase in the third party costs is greater than the value of the plan, we would have the option to approach the family for an additional amount.
